- Hydraulix989 10y agoAs someone who grew up in a rural small town in the midwest before attending a top 15 university and starting a company in Silicon Valley, I really don't appreciate the perceived stereotype of my hometown. (Unfortunately, yours seems to be the prevailing attitude towards my "roots" here in northern California with its conflicting culture that purportedly prides itself on being free of stereotypes.)
