It's a great idea. Customers can start using it today to host the databases for their dev and QA environments, which will help suss out any issues with it before GA.
- GordonS 10y agoI'd generally want at least my QA environment to be a replica of my productions environment, and I guess many others would too. I don't want to be overly negative though - releasing now at least let's us play with it and see how it stacks up.
