Which is basically what I end up thinking after virtually every Google announcement regarding chat.
- sctb 10y agoWe can profitably do without more drive-by snark (which we've asked you repeatedly not to post) on Hacker News.
- zeveb 10y agoHonestly, I think this is exactly the sort of sentiment we need on Hacker News, because I think it accurately and succinctly represents the opinion of a significant portion of the community with respect to Google's chat apps. Sometimes snark is the only decent response to a situation; I think that Google's chat quagmire is arguably one of those.
