Seems like a keynote that was thrown together last minute. Full of awkwardness and lacking any substance.
- sheraz 10y agoexactly -- The first lady to come out seemed so lost and literally said something like "more clouds" and "more 9's on uptime" for 2017. Thats when I clicked off...
- theDoug 10y agoClicking you back on, "the first lady to come out" was Diane Greene, the SVP of Google Cloud.
- sheraz 10y agoHey Doug -- I see what you are doing, and I reject the premise. Your tone implies that @meddalpal and I have somehow made a sexist remark by referring to a presenter as "the first lady to come out." She was the first lady to come out, and I would imagine that many watching did not know who she was. Had it been a guy I would have said "That first dude on stage was a train-wreck of a presenter." There is sexism in the world, but it is not here.
- meddlepal 10y agoI guess I was not the only one who thought the keynote today was embarrassingly bad. The first lady to come out was robotic sounding and made some terrible attempts at humor.
