Out of 300+ million. 100 people dying is one car accident per state per day, effectively. That seems like a very low, very tolerable rate.
- lmm 10y agoIt's the biggest danger to healthy adults AIUI. Maybe you think we're safe enough and shouldn't be worrying about safety at all, but to the extent that we're worrying about literally any other safety issue - food inspections, building inspections, terrorism, police shootings, gun laws - we should be worrying more about road safety.
