What do potential acquirers think of companies that have mostly a remote team?
I'd assume a company with 100% remote employees would seem chaotic and uncontrollable to a potential acquirer, but let's say there's a base office and 80% of the team is remote. Has anyone been in the situation where an acquirer passed up a purchase because of a predominately remote team? We live in a new age and companies don't have to be run a certain way, but with most acquisitions being initiated by traditional companies, how would a potential acquisition fare when the team is all over the place?
