Better in technical terms; better SNR, non-destructive editing, enables remote collaboration, more versatile and flexible.
- riprowan 10y agoThese are all amazing benefits, but when you're making art, you'll throw all of those out the window if doing so get you the sound you need. The problem is thinking that this is either/or. I use a 48 channel ProTools HD system married to gear that's largely 40-70 years old. Best of both worlds.
