"Nepotism" is favoritism shown to family relatives. I think the word you're looking for "NIBMYism".
- ikeyany 10y agoNIMBYism itself is just a friendlier way of saying "selfish, greedy, and exclusionary".
- jonstewart 10y agoI'm not sure it's friendlier... I think it's plenty pejorative. Regardless, it's not the same thing as nepotism.
