Identifying fake faces for facial recognition with #deeplearning and #AI http://bit.ly/2lqZbUn https://youtu.be/nFHqDmMcA8I Presentation attack is a common venerability to all 2D facial recognition systems, attempts at resolving the issue traditionally involves using additional hardware (IR Sensors, camera), and/or complex computer vision algorithms that don’t work very well and often require additional effort on behalf of the user. In this demo I utilize deep learning and AI to identify fake faces (attack attempts), prevent access, and notify the user in real time, with near perfect accuracy and even with single static photos. Deep learning and the work we do at Chui is increase security and enabling unmanned facial recognition systems to work in practice.
