I have had intermittent income for over a decade as a contractor and my credit score is excellent. Credit scores are based on making regular debt payments, paying bills on time and a lack of tax leins.
- jordanb 10y agoI think the OP's point is that credit scores may be conditioned to assume regular income if a person has a good payment history. In doing so they are failing to capture a new and growing dimension of risk: peoples incomes are more precarious.
