Have you tried using some of the pixel unsticking utilities that are available that futz with the surrounding pixels in an attempt to convince it to behave? I

Have you tried using some of the pixel unsticking utilities that are available that futz with the surrounding pixels in an attempt to convince it to behave? I can't begin to guess at the underlying physics of why doing that works for things that persist across a cold boot, but the few times I've had a stuck pixel, they've been useful.
