I wonder if AI's will attempt suicide one day.
- adt2bt 10y agoIf they're not entirely self-serving, that's almost a certainty in my mind. There will likely be scenarios where AIs take themselves out for the greater good.
- scj 10y agoI suspect that at some point a self-upgrading AI will have to choose between limiting its potential or losing a piece of its identity. Would altering oneself beyond recognition be a form of suicide?
