This is why it's important to clarify what "Docker" means in context. Kube and OpenShift DO use Docker (the lower-level infrastructure parts of it, but not the higher-level platformy parts of it).
That represents the evolution of the containerd-vs-docker split, and (to me) seems totally rational.
