I wouldn't mind having a 24" or 27" for coding use. All those years of having active pixels (and phosphors) blasting my eyes can't be a good thing. An issue might be getting good quality ambient lighting to use with a display like this.

- andruc 10y agoThe refresh rate of the e-ink displays of certain smart watches surprised me. It was displaying fluid animations without any ghosting. I'm not sure if refresh rate is a function of display size at all, but I will say they've come a long way at improving it over earlier Kindle modles.

- undersuit 10y agoScrolling would be a problem. But a good controller makes small text changes possible, even my old Kindle 2 can do small updates to the screen without having to do a total redraw.
- tedmiston 10y agoEven just reading and highlighting on a Kindle Paperwhite, the refresh rate is painful.
