A new (old school) way of saying that "The Gods" are messing with us. The Matrix is 1998. Shadow Run (which describes an early Maxtrix-like system called "The Matrix") is 1989. To say that we live in a world that is composed of rules defined by another (outside) world should be obvious at this point. Whether you consider the "controlling" world to be outside or inside is irrelevant all that matters is that we cannot describe or predict the behaviors of that world with any rules defined by this one. Any observation of that world is basically just Magic. Donald Trump winning the election was not magic... Hillary Clinton just failed to motivate liberals who were all bitter about here campaigns treatment of Sanders. In the Oscars someone didn't err on the side of caution when they saw something wasn't right they just blurted out the result that they wanted to see - no magic. Superbowl - a team just choked - not magical at all. BTW, black holes are magic. If they worked the way that physicist describe you would be killed just by looking at them.
