Mexico shuts down during Mexican world cup games. People don't work, there are literally no cars on the street.
- jacquesm 16y agoIn NL that does not happen officially, but if you're looking for some fast service when there is a game on then better forget it and try again in a few days. The amount of 'sick leave' around those days is also well above average.
- pyre 16y agoI would hate to see what the super/food/farmer's markets are like leading up to a Mexican World Cup game... People must really have to stock up.
