Focus on the core business and aggressively eliminate any and all costs not directly associated with it. It's ridiculous that they're one of the most popular websites on Earth that makes ~$2bn/year, yet they manage to piss it all away on things that don't noticably improve their service. What Twitter really needs is to be bought up by some Wall Street type who can look at their books and do just that, and not much more.
