Agreed, the stupid quiz culture is getting old. I suspect people who cling to this tradition wouldn't be able to code their way out of a paper bag outside the sphere of well defined problems with canned solutions.
- bdcravens 10y agoOr the hiring process is optimizing for "nerd culture", whereas most development is optimized for solving business problems, and the two are often at odds. If the desire is for peers rather than coworkers, you might as well ask, "In which Marvel parallel universe did Wolverine have claws made out of banana peels instead of Adamantium?"
