Fyi for readers who might get the wrong impression about the article based on grabcocque's criticism: The author is actually explaining why he continues to play with video games even though people are dying. It's a long essay (4500 words) and it takes Paul Kilduff-Taylor a while to build up to his justifications of pursuing the activities he finds meaningful even though people are suffering in the world.
