I feel I should point out at this juncture, that this was a quote from a BBC Radio 4 comedy, and that it's not to be taken as seriously as you seem to be. I think his broader point though, as is the point of the person I was replying to originally, that when we design robots for highly adaptable, sophisticated tasks, we design a potentially very dangerous robot.
