  It's a dupe in the sense that the primary discussion on this topic is in the other submission. As of this comment, 324 comments.

    And flagged off the front page from within an hour of its posting, despite the 300+ comments and 600+ points. Hard to discuss when it's been hidden. </rant>

      I'm sure it also triggered the flamewar detector, which also pushes it further down in the rankings. It still has had very healthy discussion despite being pushed down. As you point out, well over 300 comments.

  In this situation it seems fair to classify it as a dupe. Would've been better to just post the link in a comment on the earlier post, and leave it to a moderator to update it instead.
