Actually I think that would be the best solution..just get rid of taxation of people working, which is an incentive for companies not to hire people (and for people to prefer unemployment with its problems and benefits).
- occamrazor 10y agoThe money raised from those taxes needs to come from somewhere else though. Possibilities include taxes on consumption (sales tax or VAT), capital gain, corporate profits, property, etc. Each of these has advantages and disadvantages.
