Sweden's government has a bizarre economic problem – collecting too much tax
- kartan 10y agoThe problem is not that people pays to much taxes, but that they use the tax agency as a save account to earn a 0.5% rate. A lot better than my 0% at SEB.
- KingMob 10y agoYeah, the title's misleading. It sounds as if the govt is wielding a heavy hand, but it's actually a money-making scheme citizens are using during a time of negative interest rates. The govt has to return the overpayment, with interest.
