I used to respond to just about every recruiter email/call. Problem is, as you noted, that so much of what I receive these days is spam that I've stopped bothering to reply to most of them.
Now, occasionally I'll receive a well crafted email that was obviously specifically targeted to me and I'm so impressed that I have to reply :)
- fecak 10y agoMost of my responses do mention that they did so because of the attention to detail in the message. Even the ones that are well-crafted still don't get much response. I envision that they're deleted by most people unless they are actively looking or pretty set on doing so rather soon.
