Stats amateur here. Care to explain?
- lngnmn 10y agoCorrelation, no mater how "strong" is not a causation. A causation must be proved experimentally. Statistical sampling does not constitute a valid experiment. Statistical inference is not an equivalent to a logical inference and they cannot be used interchangeably. Unproven statistical models are no better than astrological calculations or metaphysics.
