Honestly ops is about making/saving money for the company. Like an HR employee can choose the right thing, an ops engineer can also choose "sleeplessness avoidance", but it doesn't always work out that way.
- StavrosK 10y agoThat's true, but "sleeplessness avoidance" saves lots more money for small-scale companies. Downtime and man-hours are much more expensive than getting more reliable hosting, unless you're a very large company.
