Medicare For Everybody would solve some problems, no doubt. I expect the opposition comes from the right, who are worried that the initial program, no matter how modest, would be the thin end of the wedge that eventually leads to the complete socialization of American medicine.
- maxerickson 10y agoThey simply don't want to pay for it. They talk about personal freedom and stuff, but they just mean they don't want to pay for it.
