Anecdotal of course, but I've travelled to the States multiple times per year in recent years, for work and especially for conferences. I'm planning to avoid the US entirely now since immigration there was already intrusive and unpleasant, and it's probably about to get significantly worse. It's a shame, because most of the conferences I'm interested in are there or Europe, and Europe is very far from where I live. Unfortunately any measures that get pushed through now (e.g. requiring social media passwords) will probably take a very long time to get rolled back post-Trump, if they ever do.
