have heard recently alarmingly high crime rate in Costa Rica for Foreigners, I would stay out of Costa Rica
- knz 10y agoTwo of my coworkers experienced armed home invasions while on holiday in Costa Rica (5 years apart, within the last 10 years). One of them had the same people come back the following evening. It's a small sample size but it's a hell of an anecdote!
