If we can't predict the effects of basic, "simple" market regulations like these labor laws, what makes you think a complete overhaul of the system is going to be so much better?
If we ever do UBI, I predict there will be massive problems that no one was able to predict that will arise as soon as the system is in place and we'll be no better than when we started.
- brandon272 10y agoI don't think the UBI is a panacea but I do believe it's worth looking at. Quite incredible how much rage is evoked by even mentioning it, though.
