- cmrdporcupine 10y agoYeah, so I never used kijiji until I moved out of Toronto. Within metro Toronto proper craigslist seems to be used more? Or hast that changed.
- emilecantin 10y agoIn Quebec, Craigslist is virtually unknown (with maybe a little traffic in Montreal, but I'm not sure), everyone used LesPAC first, and then Kijiji when it came along. You needed to pay to post an ad on LesPAC, so it quickly lost market share when a free competitor emerged. Both of these have a French-language version, and I believe it had a lot to do with CL's failure to get the market here.
- Tiktaalik 10y agoSpeaking of ugly and janky, Kijiji is much worse than Craigslist in this area. It's remarkable to me that people use it. It has not found popularity in Vancouver, where Craigslist is ubiquitous.
