Maybe it's possible to scale with just RAM! Fire up a uWSGI + Flask and up the RAM as traffic increases.
- problems 10y agodatabase servers, redis and memcached I'm guessing. All of which are basically designed to take a memory-time tradeoff.
- icelancer 10y agoYes, this is what I use my high-memory servers for. Giant memcached and redis slabs.
- stefano 10y agoYou can run a memory-based DBMS. That will easily eat all the RAM you can throw at it.
