Nothing illegal, and nothing that would impact my own health in a permanent way. Otherwise yes, everything and everyone has a price.
- grzm 10y agoSo, there are some limits for you. Then you say "Otherwise…everyone has a price." It seems clear to me that others may not have the same limits you do, some having more, some less. And laws vary with jurisdiction. It just seems unreasonable to make a claim like "Everyone has a price" when it can be so easily qualified as to make the statement's intended absolutism meaningless. I chock this statement up alongside "A company exists solely to create profit". It has this raw, naked capitalist "that's the way the world works" jingoism that doesn't reflect that what motivates people so often entails much more than that.
