Humble Freedom Bundle (pay what you want and help charity)
- VikingCoder 10y agoSorry if anyone considers this spam. I don't, since it's 100% to Charity - and they're even matching $300,000.
- troydavis 10y agoThe part that's flag-worthy is the submitted link label, which is currently "Humble FREEDOM Bundle – HUGE List of Games, 100% to Charity." The page title is actually "Humble Freedom Bundle (pay what you want and help charity)." Given that, the title you chose is link-bait and/or editorializing.
- VikingCoder 10y agoUpdated.
- mojoe 10y agoIt's certainly not editorializing -- it clearly states at the top of the page that "100% goes to charity." The list of games is also far greater in size than any other Humble Bundle I've seen, so 'huge' is also accurate. As for the link-bait accusation, it seems to me that the original title was more descriptive than the one you insisted on. A simple "please use the original title" would have sufficed.
- troydavis 10y agoJust the word "huge" would be fairly subjective, but your comment ignores that "HUGE" was in all caps. That makes it seem a lot more like trying to attract attention than any neutral summary of the content.

- dawnerd 10y agoI was expecting a few okay games, not a pretty solid list.
- ullarah 10y agoI find it just a little bit amusing that the game 'Ellipsis' is the 'FREEDOM' edition, however it is one of the few games that aren't DRM free.
- ulucs 10y agoI don't think this can be considered "pay what you want". There were some indie games I wanted to check out, but 30$ is a little too high for those.
- Ntrails 10y agoHumble bundle moved away from "pay what you want" ages ago, into a "here's the minimum you have to pay for the non trash parts of the bundle". I don't really mind then setting a minimum bar - I just fundamentally object to them continuing to claim it's the former. To each their own.
- qworty 10y agoI think it is quite funny they call it the Humble Freedom Bundle considering this: "Bitcoin payments have been disabled for the Humble Freedom Bundle." Oh how I love freedom.
- hd4 10y agoNow is an appropriate time to mention The Free Bundle (actually free bundles of games) http://www.thefreebundle.com http://www.thefreebundle.com
- casion 10y agoThis is definitely not 'Pay what you want.' It's 'pay $30 or more' with no other option.
- chenshuiluke 10y agoThanks for the link!
- Sohcahtoa82 10y agoA little over 24 hours later and they've hit $3.1mil. Impressive.
- VikingCoder 10y ago48 hours, and it's slowed to $4,093,977 "More [content announced] in 3 hours."
