In an age when AI threatens to become widespread, humans would be useless, so there's a need to merge with machines, according to Musk.
Then why won't the machines just kill the humans and take over?
- m3talsmith 10y agoIt is a threat to our system, and the fallout of our system is a threat to our life, but the AI aren't intentionally threatening us; our lack of foresight and stubborn desire to live under a wage earning system will eventually hurt us because our efficiency is always going to lag behind a digital intelligence. This isn't Skynet, this is the logical conclusion of capitalism.
