Having grown up in a town that I saw flooded when the Teton Dam failed (http://www.history.com/topics/us-states/idaho/videos/engineering-disasters-teton-dam http://www.history.com/topics/us-states/idaho/videos/enginee...), I've been watching this closely. Thankfully, it appears the actual body of the dam is unlikely to fail, so hopefully even if the emergency spillway fails, it won't be a catastrophic, immediate draining of the whole lake.
