I think that once we had pension fund and the like buy REITs for investment, it's become much much harder to consider moving to such a paradigm.
- prostoalex 10y agoMost REITs are built on the assumption that commercial property loses value and follow IRS-provided guidelines on depreciation.
- twblalock 10y agoI don't know what you invest in, but my REIT fund invests in office space rather than homes.
