"Write everything down" is very important for any org hitting 150 people. It's when an organization hits Dunbar's #. [0] It's even tougher when you pass it and everyone is remote.

- neom 10y agoIf your orgs are hitting 150 people, you're organizing your company incorrectly.
- akavel 10y agoCan you explain more precisely what do you mean by that? Are you trying to say that companies with >150 people are somehow incorrect?
- lbotos 10y agoHe means that a company is comprised of many smaller orgs: Development / Marketing / Support / Sales And even then you can have smaller teams: APAC Sales / EMEA Sales / US Sales So no "org" should be that big.
- mathattack 10y agoYes - that's my point. And most startups act as one org (like 3 year olds chasing a soccer ball) and if they haven't subdivided by 150, that's when they need to.
- neom 10y agoThat's exactly what I meant. Thanks for clarifying for me sir or madame. :) PS: we should hang out sometime! I see you live in BK.
