- tr1ck5t3r 10y agoHave you set up your firewalls to check whats going out? When I have used ad blockers before, whilst they get rid of the adverts, the ones I have been using have still be reporting back to Google, which I don't want either. Setting your firewall to Reject all outgoing traffic except what you allow, is the fastest way to browse the web. If you set your firewall to Drop the packets it can take ages to load a web page. VPN's are useless as I suspect all NATO countries have oversight of the traffic passing over their networks, and despite a charade that NATO countries don't share intelligence, do you really and truly believe that? Maybe the politicians don't know, but I would never trust a Govt that operates in secret!
