- dca 16y agoThat's incredible. I've wanted something like that for a while now. Thanks for pointing it out. Are you aware of a vim oriented one anywhere? (I switch back and forth on which I prefer given the time of year / language of the hour)
- mechanical_fish 16y agoOoh, my dream is alive! I'll try it out.
- bonaldi 16y agoNo ctrl or meta keys on the iPad keyboard might make that tricky. (ymacs is amazing, though)
- angusgr 16y agoOf course, you can get an external keyboard for the iPad, and that comes with Ctrl and Meta keys. It's a fair point, though.
- hogu 16y agoymacs is emacs in a browser. emacs-w3m is a browser inside emacs I just tried to run ymacs in a emacs-w3m, but it didn't work. that woulda been cool though, emacs in a browser running inside a browser which is inside emacs.

- acg 16y agoAre you sure that this will work on an iPad? Just because it's available in the browser doesn't mean it can be used. Take Google docs as an example.
- rbanffy 16y agoHmmm... An Emacs front-end to a cloud-based file-system. That could be the basis of a very, very nerdy startup ;-)
