It's not that privacy isn't locally good if it could be had, it's that or can't be had, and letting only some people (more powerful) have privacy is actively bad. Just like we have to prepare for the post labor society, we have to prepare for the post privacy society. It's not about what we'd like to be true, it's about what's actually true.
