I'm curious whether you actually read the article and have any thoughts on the menu within. Seemed horrible to me as an outside observer.
- joemi 10y agoDidn't read the article but I've played the game. As I mentioned, I've been playing roguelikes for a long time, and I think that definitely has to do with my lack of hatred for the UI.
- zzalpha 10y agoIf you've played the game, read the article. Dwarf Fortress is like owning an incredibly ugly dog. Everyone knows it's ugly. You can even laugh at how ridiculous it is. But you can still love it all the same.
