Except that the "teachings of Christ as we know them" has already changed a lot over time and has arguably never very close to the guy from Nazareth we can infer from the many echoes we have in the scriptures of his time and report from disciples. For example he was much more Jewish than we usually think he was. He would be surprised to find so many people talking about choosing him as a model while eating "impure meat" and not being circumcised. Yes he emphasised Faith over Law but only long time after Paul did Chirstianity start to fork again from Judaism.
So the "teaching of Jesus as we know them" is a human construct only remotely rooted in what the actual Jesus might have thought or said, and therefore has nothing special (magical) compared to, say, Buddhism.
