For a lot of employees, the project they'll be working on and what their manager is like are major factors in whether they want a job. Wouldn't a "no hiring manager" strategy cause problems because of this?
- blacksmythe 16y agoI understand (at least in the past) Google makes it easy to move between groups, so you are really joining a company, rather than a group. In most companies if you don't like your manager, your best option is to find another job.
