Me being completely inept at appreciating borrowing. The compiler was brilliant. It said 'no' a lot, but was certainly helpful. I gave myself four hours to play with it one afternoon. It wet my appetite enough to try it again in the future. I actually have an idea that needs a C++ wrapper. I'd like to try to use Rust instead of C++.
