Personally, I don't consider a certain measure of inequality to be a problem, with the caveat that nobody is artificially restrained from achieving economic success. This is a bit of a straw-man. You'll find that most people accept a certain measure of inequality. The key point is that when people are presented with a range of income distributions they usually end up with something closer to Sweden than the US.
