I've been going on about this and annoying my friends recently. The biggest loser in this election hasn't actually been the media or the Democrats, it's postmodernism. I'm not sure what comes next, or whether the academics will swing back towards absolutism or not. But if postmodernism was still kicking last year, it is definitely dead and buried by now.
