It's quite a surprise that so many prominent companies are getting around the best ad-blockers. Obviously it's a game of cat and mouse, but it seems like nothing much has changed with ad blockers since sites started detecting them and limiting content a couple years ago. Are there any open-source ad blocking projects? Or does that defeat the purpose? I'm not convinced it does.
