- caub 10y agoI think they all use the same lib for drawing those vectors, leaflet I think
- piokuc 10y agoThey are both very similar to https://earth.nullschool.net/ https://earth.nullschool.net/ which is open source: https://github.com/cambecc/earth https://github.com/cambecc/earth
- tomslavkovsky 10y agoIt is not any longer, the last update on github was made 3 years ago. Now Cameron works is not publishing new features on github.
- anc84 10y agoWhich features does the website have that are not in the repo?
- tomslavkovsky 10y agoeg WebGL support which was added last year in November
- edouardb 10y agoTotally agree with that !
- tomslavkovsky 10y agoThey are not, the only common thing is that they are Czech companies. Windytv provides ECMWF model (for free), which beats Ventusky in big way.
- xenithorb 10y agoCan you explain the significance of that
- piokuc 10y agoECMWF has been producing the best global forecasts in the world for many years. This will end in few years, but at the moment IFS, the model used at ECMWF, is the best in the world.

- metaobject 10y agoThis is true, it routinely exhibits higher forecast skill than any of the US models.
- shitgoose 10y agowhy will it end? just curious.
