Trump craves praise and approval. He needs people to think he's great. At the same time he reflexively rejects/attacks/hates anyone at all, even a potential ally, who criticizes him. Furthermore, when the people protest his decisions or angrily criticize him, it actually fuels his ego and makes him more convinced that his decisions are correct. We've seen this again and again and again. Should my goal be to remain untainted by association or contact with Trump? Or should it be to coax the confused monster away from his destructive path?
